ITPA Hastwell Cybersecurity Breakfast & Learn
Recently, ITPA board member Sean Bates flew the flag at a co-branded ITPA / Hastwell IT Cybersecurity breakfast event in Adelaide. Hastwell IT are an Adelaide based MSP who specialise in Cybersecurity consulting services and have recently joined ITPA as a sponsor.
The breakfast included a panel discussion on the ACSC Essential 8, focussing on how various tech leaders in Adelaide organisations had approached their cybersecurity journey with specific reference to the Essential 8 initiatives.
This was a fantastic opportunity for Adelaide IT professionals to hear local ‘war’ stories and learn from the experiences of others. The ability to connect with other like-minded local IT professionals was invaluable and provided significant insights.
It was also a chance to engage and grow ITPA’s audience, with further discussions regarding ITPA’s purpose and ability to affect positive change both in the Australian IT industry and broader community.
