SA Chapter - Federating Active Directory

This month our South Australian chapter brings you a presentation on Active Directory federation.

This month at the SA Chapter meeting:

Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) - why you use it, how you use it, how it all looks when working. Cloud enablement, positive user experience, lower organisational security risks, and cool tech, is what ADFS brings.

Michael will go through concepts, basic configurations, and more advanced configurations, and demonstrate them functioning on live platforms. Michael will then explain how it provides real world security and manageability benefits to the organisation, along with answers to any questions people might have about the technology.

About Michael: Security, Risk and Compliance consultant. 10+ Years working in the security field, as an Analyst, Architect and Consultant, for Education, Defense, Law Enforcement, Justice Agencies, Health Care, Utilities and more. He?s been architecting and helping to deploy federated platforms for several years to Government and Large corporations and likely on systems you already use today.
